Around the World Textures

Spotting out beautifully-made interior decoration is something that eases my mind. It's even better when I get to take some of my favorite pieces home. Because my room, my space is something precious and intimate. So decorating it with the decor that brings me joy is important.
Fiesta Braided Fringe Rug
Spice Patchwork Rug
Though the floor is some place we rarely favor, it is a feature of our rooms that we subconsciously take in. The colors that catch our eyes energizes us and can play a key role in how we react to stress and handle our daily activities.
Old Bengali Patch Pouf Ottoman
Elements of the world can be seen in many different places. This beautiful pouf ottoman from Pier 1 imports is a beautiful and comfortable addition to any dorm, room, or household. Not to mention it's handmade in India.

Keru Embossed 2-Tier Table
Starburst Mosaic Accent Table
Elaborate desks and tables give you inspiration when studying or working from home. Pick a design that fits you.

Surround yourself with pretty things, make it unique but always keep it you.

Thriving Terrariums

I can't help but be drawn to the baby plants sitting in the corner of my local hardware store's nursery. For eighteen years in a desert, you think I'd get tired of them.

Though these tender succulents are foreign to many states they are wonderful to tend to as a house plant in any home, apartment, or dorm. Here's a couple eye-catching hints when planting your new baby succulents.

  1. Purchase a unique pot from Anthropologie here. Their pots start at $4 and are perfectly chic for any windowsill. I purchased the small pot from their Basket-Weave Garden Pot Collection for one of my cactus.
  2. Use a classy glass bowl. It's earthy, elegant, and bound to get compliments! Most craft stores have them in stock for a great price.

Plants help give life and energy to your space, so make sure you take care of them by following the instructions that come with them! Succulents and cactus don't need much water but they do need fast-draining formula soil and a sunny perch. Give them loads of love and they will in turn fill your life with down-to-earth vibes and a natural peace of mind.

Eat Your Heart Out

There is nothing better (or more fulfilling) then the perfect entrée. When it has the perfect aroma, an exotic display, and a satisfyingly delicious lingering taste in your mouth your taste buds and your body just know how good it is for you. Take breakfast, for example:

"The most important meal of the day." Why? Well, if a health-conscious gal would get up early enough on a beautifully cool summer morning and dish out something appealing and wholly healthy. She would see.
It doesn't have to be sugar-free or carb-free or only a hundred calories. As long as a regular exercise is involved, there's no stopping a girl who eats right to prepare for the day!

...But let's talk about those good supper eats.
Fresh produce, like shrimp, pork, or sausage, and crisp veggies, such as roasted bell peppers, jalepenos, garlic, or micro greens (for an enticing touch of color), can go a long way on a taco night. Try a new type of tortilla. Green Chile or black corn tortillas can spice up any Mexican dish.

Shoot for nutritious not dietary. Enjoy the new inspiration. Go. Eat your heart out.
